Helmut: The Forsaken Child - H.F.C Chapter 103 (Part 2):
The weight pressing on Charlotte abdomen was so heavy that she couldn’t move. She frowned as she looked at the boy sitting on top of her.
Asuka, with a sword pointed at Charlotte’s throat, smirked.
“What? are you trying to beat Asuka in a first-year topic?”
She was impressive, but that was about it.
Asuka enjoyed the satisfaction of victory in that state. She was quite a tough opponent.
Of course, until he heard the voices around him.
“Wow, that Asuka guy, he’s on top of a girl!”
“”Perhaps because that boy’s face looks like the face of a girl, so he acts as if he were one!”
“Look at him sitting on top of her and laughing! Is that guy a pervert?”
“Who’s the pervert?”
Asuka, who had been smiling smugly, was startled and got up.
Only then did he realize that he had been pressing down on a female student. And for quite a long time.
Asuka coughed awkwardly.
“Hey, you, get up quickly. You need to explain. Why are you just standing there?”
“It seemed like you were enjoying it…”
He tried to sound casual, attempting not to disturb Asuka’s moment of victory. Charlotte’s expression remained composed.
“I didn’t do it on purpose. Don’t misunderstand.”
Asuka added an explanation, trying to avoid the label of being a harasser despite already having the reputation of a crazy dog.
“No misunderstanding. Your movements… were natural.”
It seemed like she meant that he didn’t intentionally try to take advantage. Asuka looked at her with disbelief.
However, Charlotte’s words were genuine. She realized that it happened not because he wanted to make a move while pretending to spar but rather unintentionally.
It wasn’t particularly uncomfortable, except for the fact that she lost. Charlotte stood up with a calm expression.
‘Asuka-senpai, he’s not just famous for no reason.’
In Greta’s Swordsmanship Department, where strength mattered, you can’t be notorious just for being hot-headed. You need to have the skills to back it up.
Asuka felt uncomfortable for some reason. Even Asuka, who was used to being called a crazy dog, didn’t like being called a pervert. He scratched his head and got angry.
“Ai, why does a girl come to the Swordsmanship Department and make people uncomfortable!”
There is discrimination between men and women in the Swordsmanship Department, where men dominated, which is a bit different from the discrimination based on the status of nobles and commoners.
Charlotte’s voice suddenly turned cold.
“Don’t make discriminatory remarks. You seem to have experienced quite a bit of discrimination yourself.”
“No, I…”
Asuka, who was about to get irritated by the cold tone, lost his momentum as he grasped the content of the words.
“Oh, right…”
Asuka closed his mouth, scratching his cheek. Charlotte didn’t say anything more and turned her back.
Everyone looked at them with surprised eyes. It was the first time they saw Asuka, who couldn’t even squeak, back down. And that to a first-year junior.
“What’s going on.”
“Well, he also faced discrimination for being a commoner.”
There would be no words to say about such remarks.
The sparring was gradually coming to an end. Asuka looked around. The instructors who had been observing with a critical eye since the end of the sparring were now heading in the other direction.
Something felt off. It was like the discomfort of coming out of the restroom without wiping properly.
Asuka soon realized the reason.
“More importantly.”
Asuka spoke with a growl.
“Come out.”
Facing the second-year students who were staring blankly, Asuka showed a fierce smile.
“He looks like a girl. that guy is a pervert?”
The bodies of those in his line of sight flinched at his aggressive expression.
“You guys who said that, come out now!”
A sudden silence fell. The second-year students just looked at each other.
They probably didn’t expect him to listen. It was a word spit out in excitement. Asuka tapped the finger holding the wooden sword on the other hand.
“If you come out when I say it nicely, it’ll be over with one hit.”
He roughly caught on to which side the words had come from. The suspects were narrowed down to five people.
Asuka was ready to thrash all five until the culprit came out.
“Not coming out? Do you guys want to die together?”
It was a fierce momentum that made even the first-year students who had been looking down on him inwardly shrink.
Having proven his strength by defeating Charlotte, although it took some time due to an unfavorable matchup, Asuka’s skills were beyond doubt.
“All five of you, stand right here. I’ll hit you until you confess…”
Thud! Asuka clutched his head after he was hit on the back of his head.
Unbeknownst to him, approaching Patricia, the instructor, gave him a look as if he were a lifelong troublemaker.
“You’re doing your thing. If I take my eyes off you for a moment, you’ll cause an accident?”
‘Who is this!’ As Asuka was about to shout, he frowned the sight of her.
‘Ah, it’s this woman again.’
“Why are you hitting me! This is self-defense!”
“What self-defense? Is it to call your classmates and beat them up?”
“They slandered me with nonsense. I have to defend myself, otherwise everyone will misunderstand me, won’t they?”
“Is defense for you to threaten someone and beat him up?”
“The best defense is offense.”
“As long as you keep your mouth open.”
Patricia, the instructor, grabbed Asuka’s ear. As Asuka was about to make a fuss, he grabbed her hand, whining.
‘Wow, did she take some kind of power potion! I can’t shake her off.’
Patricia calmly spoke.
“Asuka, you’ve done a great job in the dueling; that was good. But, as a senior second-year, can’t you calm down a bit in front of the first-year juniors?”
“I’ll stay quiet if no one bothers me.”
‘Look at this liar!’ All the second-year students who had been paying attention to the situation simultaneously had the same thought. Helmut thought the same.
“Okay, let’s say that’s the case. Your classmates were just excited and joking. Can you understand that?”
“No, I can’t!”
Patricia sighed and let go of Asuka.
“Follow me after class! We need to discuss your inappropriate behavior.”
As she turned her back and left, Asuka rubbed his ear. It was numb.
‘Ah, this is all because of that Charlotte or whatever.’
Asuka, who was somehow harboring a grudge, was burning with hostility.
