Helmut: The Forsaken Child - H.F.C Chapter 92 (Part 2):
Asuka’s behavior had improved slightly as Helmut had warned.
Helmut wasn’t the type to tolerate someone else’s tantrums.
He tried to ignore and turn away, but Sian quickly intervened.
“Why don’t you just look at it now? How about trying over there? There’s an open space next to the entrance.”
If Helmut can’t get into a fight with someone even if he wants to, it’s probably because of Sian.
Sian was holding his arm. He was officially recognized as a ‘friend’ by Ethan, even in the mansion.
‘Is this what friends are supposed to be like?’
An existence that brings 10% joy and 90% annoyance.
Asuka, who happened to be holding a wooden sword, reluctantly accepted the mediation proposal.
He also instinctively realized that Helmut would not do any more for him.
“Over there in the vacant lot? Well, okay.”
Helmut thought positively about new experiences.
Life in the Forest of Roots was monotonous and there was nothing new except learning the sword.
Realizing oneself gradually improving while learning the sword. That’s probably why he was able to devote himself more to the sword.
Contrary to the outside world where there are many things to do, people can’t pay attention to sword training for a long time.
He sometimes imagined what kind of experiences he would have in the outside world, but he couldn’t draw it well.
Heading towards that undrawn future, he eventually came to Greta Academy in just a few months.
Going out to hang out with friends on holidays was also something that should be thought positively in terms of new experiences. But he didn’t really want to.
‘It feels like I’m doing boring training that Darien ordered me to do.’
Wasn’t that what he hoped for when he left the Forest of Roots?
He felt skeptical. And the reason for his skepticism was clear.
Helmut was wandering around the alleyways of Baden with Sian and Asuka, two friends, for 40 minutes.
It was a place far from the downtown area, so there were hardly any passers-by.
Helmut didn’t know the geography, let alone where he was going.
According to Sian, it was a small homemade beer shop that does business without a sign.
Some guy from the magic department accidentally found it and highly recommended it.
So he only knows the location, not the name. Of course. There’s no name.
“Hey, is this the right place? Why did you come to this alley?”
Asuka, who had been wandering around the alley and almost got stabbed, looked around anxiously.
He was originally a person who didn’t trust others well, but after that day, Asuka’s vigilance became stronger.
“You’re not luring me in for money from Black Hawk, are you?”
Sian laughed as if it was funny. He’s a guy who speaks without malice. Because it’s Sian, he laughs it off.
“Fool. If I had taken money from Black Hawk, I would have brought only you without Helmut.”
“Hmm, that makes sense.”
Asuka agreed. But the fact that they were wandering in this alley was entirely Sian’s fault.
Asuka, who was impatient, opened his mouth first.
“How about giving up and going somewhere else?”
“Just have a little more determination. You’ll definitely be satisfied.”
“Satisfaction, whatever, how are we going to find a place with no name?”
“Look at the street name. Isn’t this the right place? The street name is Dofin.”
Sian pointed at a sign attached to a building.
“This is Dofin 1st Street, right? As far as I know, there are up to 3rd Street in Dofin. So, one of them is on the opposite side, right?”
Asuka knew more about Baden’s geography. When Sian pointed that out, he made an embarrassed expression.
He thought there was only one street named Dofin in Baden.
‘There was such a variable.’
He laughed awkwardly.
“Uh, where is it?”
“Did the kid who recommended it give you a rough idea about the place? The names are the same, but they’re not all attached from 1st Street to 3rd Street, so one is on the opposite side.”
Sian shook his head.
“No, I think he told me. I didn’t listen carefully. The direction is right. He said there was a flower shop with a green roof and white walls. Whether it’s next to the store or just on the street where the building is…”
“Isn’t that it? Flower shop.”
Just then, they saw a flower shop with a green roof and white walls in the distance. The various colorful flowers filled in the jar were noticeable.
“Oh, right. So it must be around here.”
Helmut suddenly asked.
“Do you guys like flowers?”
Both of them heard the question, but they didn’t wonder why Helmut suddenly asked such a question, focusing on the fact that they found the flower shop.
Instead, they answered faithfully.
“Well, not particularly interested.”
“If a guy likes flowers, he’s definitely not in his right mind.”
“Is that so?”
“That’s right.”
“Typical swordsmanship department.”
Sian reacted nonchalantly, while Asuka’s reaction was very strong.
As they walked to the flower shop, Helmut casually asked one more thing.
“What if someone gives it to you?”
“I don’t like it if a man gives it, and I’m grateful if a woman gives it.”
“If a man gives it, I’ll hit him, and if a woman gives it… why would she give it?”
Asuka, who was thinking seriously, tilted his head. Sian added.
“Because she likes you?”
“If she knows my nickname and still likes me, isn’t there something wrong with her?”
“You know yourself well. That’s a big advantage.”
“What, are you mocking me?”
Asuka’s eyebrows rose.
