Helmut: The Forsaken Child - H.F.C Chapter 94 (Part 1):
Sian made a flustered expression.
“What are you talking about? It’s true that such things don’t happen to me, but it’s a phenomenon that male students commonly experience. All the attention and affection are focused on Alea, you see.
And you can probably guess, right? I’m in the same magic department as Alea, so I’ve seen him go through a lot.”
“Well, he’ll handle it on his own. It’s not an unfamiliar situation for that guy.”
“I don’t think so. Women who come out so aggressively like that may have some kind of agreement in place. Look, she’s trying to link arms.”
“I told you to move.”
Alea’s voice turned cold as she brushed off the hand reaching out to her.
She was fed up with her own magic power. If she could reach the state where she could fully control her magic power, such a thing wouldn’t happen, but she still had a long way to go.
Although it seemed like the lady wasn’t sticking to her, when there were many like this, it felt like a snake coiling around her.
‘Should I use magic?’
The thoughts of using an offensive spell suddenly dominated her mind.
Talking wouldn’t work with someone showing such fanatical reactions. Several appropriate offensive spells came to mind in this situation.
Even if it was a bit excessive, it was fine. As long as it won’t kill.
‘Lightning Strike.’
Just as she was about to act, someone subtly extended their head through the gap between the ladies.
“Hey, Alea. What are you here?”
“Oh my, what are you doing!”
“How rude!”
“Sian.”
Alea uttered his name.
Sian wasn’t alone. Alea’s gaze turned directly to her roommate, the one with pitch-black eyes and hair.
It wasn’t Alea who asked for help with his mouth. But Helmut, who hesitated for a moment, reached out his hand.
“Sorry I’m late.”
It sounded like he had decided to come here as if it was planned. It was impromptu, but it seemed quite well thought out.
Sian glanced at Helmut with a slightly surprised look, then chimed in.
“I guess Helmut and you decided to meet you here before we go?.”
“Let’s go.”
Helmut gestured with his eyes. Alea squeezed herself out from among the girls.
As the girls hesitated and tried to grab her, Asuka blocked their way and scowled.
“What are you looking at! I’ll pluck your eyeballs out.”
One of them, who had been stopped like she had witnessed a tragedy, covered her mouth with the back of her hand.
“Oh my, goodness! How barbaric.”
“I’m kind of famous for being a bit barbaric. Do you want to have a taste too?”
“Alea, how can you hang out with someone like that?”
“It’s not fitting!”
“That guy will tarnish Alea’s reputation!”
Alea approached Helmut with a cold, emotionless face.
Asuka couldn’t let go of the provocation, no matter who his opponent was.
“What kind of guy is he?”
“What kind of guy? Are you saying you don’t know who am I?”
“Enough, Mina! He’s that guy. The one from the Swordsmanship Department.”
“Huh, what did you say? Say it to the end.”
Asuka chuckled mischievously, he was unrivaled in this regard.
Despite his seemingly unassuming appearance, the girls who had heard of his notoriety stepped back nervously.
Asuka was the second most famous person in Baden after Alea, and completely the opposite way.
That’s how Alea joined Helmut and his group.
With the four of them together, there was no pressure, and no one dared to approach.
The stares continued, but Alea, who had calmed down the irritation that had worked to the ends of his hair, glanced at them with an unexpected look.
“What are you guys doing here? There are no shops here that you guys can enter with your money. Did Helmut buy anything?”.
Asuka put on a sarcastic expression.
“Wow, look at you talking after we helped you. You’re really ungrateful.”
“True.”
Sian nodded in agreement, and Alea chuckled.
“True? I never asked for your help.”
“Then at least we helped those girls. Before you knocked down the noble ladies with lightning magic.”
Sian had a precise understanding of Alea.
“Did you drink in broad daylight? You reek of alcohol.”
Alea frowned. She had said she wouldn’t come, and no one knows what kind of trouble she would have caused if she joined them before.
Helmut knew that Alea’s taste was completely opposite. She enjoyed desserts in fancy restaurants with partitions.
“I went to a good place.”
“Yeah, enough to make you regret not coming.”
“It won’t happen, so don’t even dream about it.”
Alea looked back at Helmut. She looked like she was about to say something.
But her lips remained sealed. It probably wasn’t her nature to express gratitude, and she seemed to have choked on words like “thank you” or “why did you help me this time?”
In fact, it was surprising that Helmut took the lead to do such a thing. Helmut usually doesn’t care about other people’s business.
However, Alea had helped Helmut several times. Being roommates also meant that he couldn’t easily ignore her.
