Yujin, completely unaware of the events unfolding inside Terra, leisurely passed through the eastern gate.

He could feel the gazes of NPCs and players focusing on him.

It was likely because he was riding a horse.

Someday, as time passed, most players would probably acquire one, but not at this point.

Leaving aside the matter of 『Coins』, the very existence of mounts was unknown to most right now.

As a result, NPCs were astonished that Yujin had already obtained a horse, while players were shocked to learn that such a thing was even possible.

A few curious individuals approached Yujin, trying to ask questions.

But he ignored them all.

They weren’t worth his time, and such riffraff didn’t deserve a conversation.

It would be better to spend that time killing one more monster to gain experience.

Ignoring the flurry of questions around him, Yujin stepped out of Terra, greeted by a quiet stillness.

“Now I can finally breathe,” he muttered.

The absence of the annoying buzz of insignificant people was enough to soothe his mind and body.

“Instead of those losers, I need to find people who are actually useful.”

Yes, someone like the Sword Empress or the War Demon.

He needed individuals with the talent to serve as his hands and feet.

“I’ve already met the Sword Empress once, so finding her again shouldn’t be too hard. As for the War Demon…”

Yujin’s brow furrowed.

That battle-crazed guy would be tough to track down.

Yujin had never seen the War Demon in person, not even once.

He’d only heard rumors.

They said he’d taken down a boss on the 70th floor single-handedly.

Though he paid the price with his life, someone with that level of skill was worth finding, no matter what.

“Well, he’s the kind of guy who’ll make a name for himself quickly.”

The War Demon had been famous from the start.

While other idiots were still struggling to adapt to the Tower, he was already fighting players and hunting monsters.

Even if it wasn’t right now, once word of him started spreading, Yujin could track him down then.

“The problem is the last one.”

He needed at least three allies.

The Sword Empress and the War Demon were almost certain picks, but he hadn’t decided on the third.

America’s Zygote.

China’s Flame Emperor.

Japan’s Blade Sovereign.

Russia’s Killing Machine.

And others like the Wizard, the Frost Mage, the Lion King, the Blood Lord, and so on.

He recalled the names of those who’d made a mark in his first run.

Excluding himself, they were the ones with decent skills.

“All pretty mediocre, though.”

If he had to pick one, Zygote would probably be the best…

“But that guy’s kind of disgusting.”

Eliya Ventrick.

Known as Zygote, he was considered the strongest among the Tower of Light’s conquerors, aside from Yujin, wielding formidable power.

But he was a lunatic.

He’d stop at nothing to grow stronger, no matter the means or methods.

There was a reason he’d earned the moniker Zygote.

If he hadn’t shown such dedication to conquering the Tower, he might’ve ended up as one of the Ten Evils.

“Hm, let’s pass on him.”

His power was tempting, but just thinking about him made Yujin’s stomach turn.

Rather than dragging someone like that around, it’d be better to just cut his throat.

“For now, I’ll hold off on deciding the third and pick someone suitable later.”

Since he didn’t know who would prove useful, he’d have to see them in action and judge for himself.

Yujin was lost in thought as he rode his horse when—

*Grrrrrrrrrr—*

A low, beastly growl echoed nearby.

“Hm? Already here?”

He must’ve been lost in thought longer than he realized.

Blinking and looking around, he spotted creatures revealing their killing intent.

Red-skinned, bipedal monsters, about a meter tall.

“Red Goblins.”

They inhabited the area east of Terra, past the Sulfur Deer’s habitat.

Their level was roughly 3 to 5.

Compared to Sulfur Deer, they were laughably weak.

They didn’t even provide meaningful experience for Yujin, who’d already reached level 10.

Yet, there was one reason he’d chosen this place.

‘Because it’s the fastest way to level up.’

Naturally, hunting Sulfur Deer would allow for much faster growth under normal circumstances.

They were higher level than Red Goblins and lived in groups, making them ideal for mob hunting.

But with a certain method, leveling up here was incomparably faster than with Sulfur Deer.

*Heh.*

Dismounting his horse, Yujin cracked his knuckles and approached the creatures.

“Come at me, you little runts.”

“…Can we really do this on our own?”

A boy, Park Jihoo, asked with a worried expression.

“With this many people teaming-up, we should be fine. No need to be so scared,” Ishia replied, trying to sound calm.

Having recruited Park Jihoo, known as the War Demon, she’d gone ahead and gathered a few more.

Their group now numbered five.

Except for Park Jihoo, they were all players who’d shown interest after seeing Ishia and Jihoo take down some thugs.

Aside from Jihoo, they were all level 1, but…

‘Five or six people should be enough to take down one, he said.’

The Information Guild’s Terra Branch Leader, wasn’t it?

Mullen, that was his name. He’d definitely said so.

‘Jihoo’s strong.’

Despite his timid personality, he had the skill to take down three grown men.

And that massive gauntlet seemed far superior to her 『Crimson Lotus [E]』.

Plus, she herself…

‘I cut his head off in one swing.’

She’d decapitated a man wielding an axe.

The sword she’d swung in a fit of rage had sliced clean through bone and flesh.

For someone who’d never even held a sword before coming here, it was an extraordinarily difficult feat.

‘The shock wasn’t as bad as I expected, thankfully.’

Killing.

Ishia, who’d never so much as hit someone, had taken a life in this place.

It wouldn’t be surprising if she’d suffered immense mental shock or trauma.

Yet, she was surprisingly calm.

No, to be honest, she felt nothing at all.

They attacked first, so didn’t they deserve it? That was her only thought.

She found it strange to think this way, but she considered it a relief.
