「Re-entry.
Clear rewards will not be given.」

「Entry limit: 2 times per day.
Byproduct collection from the Tower is restricted.」

Hyun re-entered the 7th Floor immediately, intending to test out Poison Round.

Just like before, Goblin Warriors and Archers had arranged themselves in a loose formation, cautiously watching their surroundings.

But with his Stealth Cloak draped over him, there was no way for them to spot Hyun.

As he activated the Poison Round, a faint green hue gathered around the rifle’s muzzle.

It was a dark, murky green—eerie and unsettling, completely unlike the surrounding grass.

‘It activates upon impact, so I can just shoot the ground, right?’

Hyun aimed at one goblin positioned near the center of the group and pulled the trigger.

Thunk—!

The shot sounded more like a grenade launcher than a rifle.

Thwack—!

The target took a clean hit to the chest, leaving a large hole—but unlike before, the upper body didn’t explode completely.

The effect, however, was clear.

Fwooooosh—!

The moment the shot pierced through and hit the ground, thick green smoke began to billow out.

Kereur—? Kereuk—?

The goblins panicked, unable to process what was happening—only for the smoke to quickly swallow them whole.

KEEEEHHHH—

A pained scream followed by still silence a few seconds later.

「All enemies eliminated.
You have cleared the 7th Floor.」

“……Hm.”

That was it.

A one-shot clear, plain and simple.

‘Yeah… I’m only using this inside the Tower from now on.’

Hyun had no intention of using this outside the Tower, especially not on people. But now, he made that resolve even firmer.

Poison Rounds would never be used outside.

A few moments later, the smoke dispersed completely and vanished.

“Is it really safe after it disappears…?”

Though it supposedly didn’t harm the user, seeing the goblins get wiped out in an instant left an uneasy feeling.

Hyun cautiously approached the goblin corpses.

As expected, since they’d been poisoned, their bodies were relatively intact.

Their faces and postures looked agonized, but…

When he reached out his hand—

「Harvestable Byproduct:
Goblin Bone.」

As expected, a system message confirmed he could collect the bones.

However, he wasn’t able to store them in his inventory.

「Entry limit: 2 times per day.」

Because, just as the earlier warning said, this was his second entry of the day.

“Hmm. In that case…”

Hyun paused in thought.

Originally, today was supposed to be the day he challenged the 8th Floor.

But now that he looked at it, running the 7th Floor a few more times didn’t sound so bad.

He could gain EXP in a safe environment, and the ordinary goblin bones might also be useful.

And if they weren’t?

‘I can just contact Deokhun— I mean, that younger dude.’

Either way, he had someone he could sell them to, so there was no risk of loss.

The next day, as planned, Hyun re-entered the 7th Floor.

Thunk—!

With a single shot, he swept through the goblins, then collected the bones of the poisoned enemies.

He picked up twenty-three goblin bones in one go.

‘Nice yield.’

Usually, Warriors had less than a 70% chance to collect bones.

If too many bones were broken during combat, you couldn’t harvest them.

But thanks to Poison Rounds, Hyun had a 100% success rate.

As he looked at the bones filling up his inventory, he tilted his head.

‘Wait a second…’

His mana rifle had gained a skill after absorbing a slightly special bone.

So… could it absorb regular bones too?

There was nothing to lose by trying.

Settling into position, Hyun brought a bone to the rifle just like yesterday.

Ssssslurp—

“Wow, look at you eat~”

Sure enough, the rifle absorbed them just as eagerly as before.

After consuming a full goblin’s worth of bones, a system message popped up.

「Item: ‘Choi Hyun’s Sniper Rifle’ has absorbed Goblin Bones.
Durability has been restored.
When durability is fully restored, Goblin Bone Rounds will be generated in the magazine.」

“……So it had durability, huh?”

Hyun patted the rifle with a guilty expression.

This fragile little thing—how much had it endured all this time, suffering in silence?

‘This could get dangerous…’

Anyway, after feeding it about six goblins’ worth, the durability was fully restored.

From then on, the magazine began to fill.

「Goblin Bone Round (F) ×5
Increases projectile speed and rate of fire. Slight decrease in firepower.
Cannot be imbued with attributes.
Bullet wounds are limited to round size.
Consumes no mana.」

Five bullets per goblin meant seventeen goblins gave him eighty-five rounds.

‘It’s a bit on the low side, but they’re easy to farm anyway.’

Considering the volume of bones used, the output was a little disappointing.

Still, he liked the effects.

His current firepower was already overkill anyway.

And faster bullets and firing speed were perfect for mowing down low-level mobs like goblins.

‘Smaller wounds mean I’ll be able to harvest more byproducts, too.’

But best of all—they didn’t consume mana.

All in all, a very useful bullet type for Hyun’s current situation.

For the next two days, Hyun repeatedly entered the 7th Floor, harvested goblin bones, and converted them all into bone rounds.

Talent Search Division, Management Bureau.

“Fuuuuuu…”

Chief Sung Yoon let out a long, heavy sigh.

The kind of sigh that, if heard by an older passerby, would justify a slap to the back of the head for being so deep and hopeless.

“Hup.”

He inhaled again.

“Fuuuuuuuuuuu…”

An even deeper sigh.

He’d been like this since yesterday.

Naturally, his subordinates were miserable.

Then Sung Yoon called out to the employee sitting closest to him.

“It’s been three days, hasn’t it…?”

“Yes, sir.”

The employee responded reluctantly.

It was a simple question—“three days”—but everyone knew what it meant.

One Shot, who had achieved an unprecedented seven consecutive S+ clears, had suddenly gone radio silent. No activity at all for the past three days.

“Why… Why would a Hunter who was diligently climbing the Tower every day just stop?”

Muttering to himself, Sung Yoon suddenly jumped to his feet and shouted.

“WHYYYYYYYYY?!”

To any observer, this would have looked like a serious meltdown—but neither the Talent Search Division nor neighboring teams said a word.

They knew exactly how much stress Sung Yoon was under.
