In other words—
If the Administrator is eliminated, the Infinite Labyrinth will be destroyed.
And who the Administrator was… didn’t need to be said.

That’s why the weakness of the barrier identified by Find Weakness [U] was the rulebook itself.

I tightened my thigh muscles and leapt into the air.
Sharpening Dragon’s Claw [A], I slashed at Avarus, who had taken the form of the rulebook.

Chunks of Avarus’s flesh tore off and dropped to the ground with a sickening crack.

<Keheheh! Do you know where you are?>

But Avarus didn’t die.

<This is the Infinite Labyrinth, created by His power!>

Absolute Rule #3: Within the Infinite Labyrinth, stamina and mana are infinite, and so are space and time.
And the Labyrinth itself is fused with the Administrator.

<No matter how much scum like you struggle, it’s all pointless!>

Meaning—Avarus’s stamina and mana were also infinite.

Shraaak—!

From the fleshy walls, sharp tendrils shot out.
They were covered in parasitic barbs that suctioned onto anything they touched.

Right then—

“Would it kill you to give me a warning ahead of time?!”

Kai leapt in from the side, having observed all the rules.
He must have gotten a rough grasp of the situation—his movements were decisive.

He shredded the tendrils in an instant and stuck close to my side.

“Is there a way?”

Of course, Kai also knew—
There was no easy way to kill Avarus.

Sure, Kai had Undying Reliance [E], so he couldn’t die.
But that didn’t mean he was limitless.
Once his Aura ran dry, his immortality would disappear.

Same for me.
I had Regeneration [B+], but calories were finite.

And currently, the amount of stored calories I had was—

◆Surplus Calories: 13,551 Kcal

Around 13,000 kcal.
Since I had used Metabolic Overdrive [U] and Regeneration [B+] before entering the barrier, I was nearly depleted.

◆Error: Inventory is not responding.

To make matters worse, my inventory still wasn’t responding.
I couldn’t consume the calories I had stored inside.

Infinity versus finitude.

<You’ll all rot to death in here! Trapped in the Infinite Abyss, you’ll become His sacrifices!!>

Avarus’s victory was all but guaranteed.
From the moment we stepped into the mage’s domain, our defeat was practically sealed.

But—

There was one thing Avarus didn’t know.

As more tendrils extended, I slashed at them with Dragon’s Claw [A] and tore off a chunk.

Then I shoved it into my mouth and bit down—

CRUNCH!

A flavor beyond description filled my mouth.
The mushy texture was one thing, but the taste… was abominable.

How should I describe this…?

Chomp, chomp.

If I had to say, it tasted like ‘rotting mud.’

Of course, I’ve never eaten rotting mud.
If it had calories, maybe I’d try it once—but there’s hardly any in dirt, so I’ll pass.

Still, you know that feeling.

With every chew of the squirming muscle, there was… meat juice, I guess?

“Blegh—!”

It was like boiling spoiled swamp sludge—absolutely vile.

HUWAAARGH—!

…Yeah, no way I can sell this.
Zero commercial value.
Once again, the monsters of the Snowy Mountains reign supreme.

Still, I forced it down somehow.

◆Calories +5,210 Kcal accumulated.

The notification popped up before me.

Surprisingly high-calorie.
I figured flesh would have some, but 5,210 kcal in one bite?

<Wh-What…?!>

Avarus’s eyes—well, what looked like eyes—widened in shock.

Kai wasn’t much better.

“……”

Standing beside me, his expression was like someone who had just watched a bug get eaten.
Honestly, he looked more disgusted than Avarus.

Enemy or not, everyone was giving me the same look: pure revulsion.
…Technically, Kai was an enemy, but still.

Ignoring both of them, I tore off another chunk from the wall and chewed.

<Wh-What do you think you’re doinggggg?!>

Avarus screamed in agony.
I jerked my chin toward him and spoke.

“Kai.”
“……”
“Do you see that?”
“……”
“Answer me.”
“W-What are you referring to…?”
“He’s in pain.”
“Well, yes, but… Ah!”

Kai’s eyes widened in realization.

According to Rule #6, the Infinite Labyrinth is fused with Avarus.

And not just physically—it’s tied to his consciousness in a warped dimension.
Meaning, damage to the Labyrinth causes pain to Avarus.

Those screams every time we damaged the walls or floor—they were his.

Of course, per the [Absolute Rules] of the Infinite Labyrinth, Avarus’s health and mana are infinite.

But his sanity is not.

Meanwhile, I can recover stamina by devouring Avarus’s flesh.
My stamina is effectively infinite.

Unfortunately for him—

◆Player’s Will [EX] resists an indescribable, unknown fear!

—I also had infinite mental endurance.

So what happens… if I give Avarus infinite pain?

My Regeneration [B+] can block pain.
But Avarus doesn’t have that luxury.

How long can his mind last?

“Kai, don’t get involved. Just keep the light going with Aura.”

◆Surplus Calories: 100,000 Kcal

At some point, I had hit the maximum storable calories.

The taste was revolting, but the calorie efficiency was insane.
If I could, I’d keep Avarus in my inventory and raise him like livestock.

I burned through the entire 100,000 kcal at once.

The explosive compounds synthesized inside me rapidly multiplied and spread, releasing scorching heat and energy throughout my body.

Bzzzzzzzzzt—!!

My body seethed like it would explode.
Every cell in my body ignited simultaneously.
A towering flame erupted through my entire form.

FWOOSH—!!!

Like a bonfire from the dawn of time, my very existence became fuel.
An uncontrollable, ultimate power surged—

It condensed in my arms.
And again.
And again.

The savage power of an awakened dragon.

“This rush… I didn’t even get it from the Monarch of the Abyss!”

◆Combination Skill: Dragon Rage Explosion [E] activated!

I stretched both arms forward toward the panicking Avarus.
