Ravenclaw’s Diadem was a symbol of wisdom and a legendary magical item.

It was said that the ancient gods had cast a spell on it to increase the wisdom of the wearer.

Etched upon its surface was Ravenclaw’s famous quote: “Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.”

Now, the Diadem was in Evan’s possession, and he had worn it before, without feeling any clearer or wiser.

In his opinion, this thing was a very valuable historical relic. Of course, it bore magic left by Ravenclaw herself, but not the kind that enhanced wisdom. Instead, it served another purpose — guiding Evan to find the Titan of Time.

No matter what method Evan used, the raven never appeared again. …

As for the claim that the Diadem was a symbol of wisdom, that was simply groundless.

This was Evan’s idea, but in the Wizarding World, whether it was the Middle Ages a thousand years ago or in later generations, wizards firmly believed that this Diadem granted unparalleled wisdom. It had been passed down for centuries as a symbol of the smartest witch or wizard.

Rowena Ravenclaw, being the most brilliant witch, possessed the Diadem.

Conversely, it was precisely because of the possession of the Diadem that she was recognized by wizards as the smartest.

The two were interdependent, proved each other, complemented each other, and were inseparable.

If the tiara were to disappear, would Lady Rowena Ravenclaw still be considered the cleverest witch?

Especially since it had been stolen by her own daughter, which was a complete scandal.

No matter how she explained it, the damage to Rowena and the Ravenclaw family’s reputation would be inevitable.

It was hard to say whether she would be disgraced, but she would definitely be questioned.

By then, some pure-blood Wizarding families would secretly fan the flames and incite public opinion, and the proposal put forward by Ravenclaw would definitely not be passed this time.

This was a very simple inference. If the Malfoy family got the real Diadem from the Baron, they might do more…

Because there were no relevant historical records, Evan could not be sure whether this incident had really happened in history.

Therefore, he didn’t know whether Ravenclaw was able to overcome the crisis or if she indeed faced complete ruin.

What was certain at the moment was that the Diadem had indeed been stolen by Helena!

She stole the Diadem because she was jealous of her mother’s wisdom and wanted to be smarter.

In the version of history that Evan had heard, Helena stole the Diadem and Ravenclaw was really sick, very sick, so she sent the Baron to find Helena. This man who had once deeply loved Helena and had been deeply hurt by her finally found Helena in the forests of Albania.

Losing his patience, the Baron killed Helena there.

Then, out of remorse, the Baron stabbed himself with the knife and ended his life.

Not long after that, Rowena Ravenclaw also died of illness. No one knew the final whereabouts of the Diadem, nor did anyone know who had seen it, let alone whether it still existed. The Diadem had been missing since then until the appearance of the young Tom Riddle. …

Because it was narrated by the person involved, the story should be generally accurate.

But there were a few issues that were not explained clearly, and it might be just a fragment of the whole story.

There were many things that had not been made clear, for example, why did Helena steal her mother’s Diadem? Was it really out of jealousy?

This explanation might seem plausible at first, but based on what Evan just overheard from the two individuals outside, Helena might not have stolen the Diadem merely out of jealousy of her mother’s wisdom. Instead, it appeared she eloped with a Muggle-born wizard and took the Diadem with her on the way out.

This explanation was more convincing than the simple claim that she stole the Diadem out of envy!

So the question was, who was the wizard Helena eloped with? And where was he now?

Strangely, such a critical figure was absent from all versions of the story, which was highly unusual.

This was the first point that was not made clear. The second was that Helena hid in the distant forests in Albania after stealing the Diadem. If she was hiding out of fear after stealing the Diadem, then there would be no point in her stealing it in the first place. She wouldn’t dare announce that the Diadem was in her hands, nor could she prove to the world in the forests that she was smarter than before and show off her wisdom. She did not enjoy any benefits of stealing the Diadem.

On the contrary, it was a very stupid act.

Evan had personally been to the forests of Albania and knew what the conditions were like there, how desolate and chaotic they were.

He had come into contact with Helena’s ghost many times. He couldn’t be considered familiar with her, but at least he had a certain understanding of her.

In Evan’s opinion, Helena would never have willingly chosen to hide in the forests of Albania. Greece might have been a plausible option, but Albania’s forests were unsuitable as a hiding place and inconsistent with Helena’s personality.

If she went there to hide from the Baron, that didn’t make sense. It was just weird.

As for the third question, it was the Baron’s behavior when he finally found Helena.

From all accounts, the Baron was a hot-tempered wizard who turned his love for Helena into resentment, but he was not without intelligence. The Baron was Salazar Slytherin’s favorite student. Even if he could not win Helena’s love, he still had a bright future. However, he finally chose the most tragic way to end his life.

Then, the two ghosts, driven by remorse, lingered in the world of the living and returned to Hogwarts. …

For over a thousand years, they had shared the castle as ghosts.

On the surface, their relationship did not seem to harbor much hatred; instead, they appeared to coexist peacefully.

Did time erase the hatred? Or was there some other unknown reason that led to their reconciliation?

After death, the two ghosts forgave each other, leaving only endless regret.

The Baron regretted that he had killed his beloved woman on impulse, and became idiotic, sometimes lucid and sometimes dull.

Helena regretted betraying her mother and stealing the tiara, but despite this, after returning to Hogwarts, she insisted on not revealing the whereabouts of the Diadem, not telling the rest of the Ravenclaw family, and not telling the other Founders.

Until the world had forgotten about it!

Oh, by the way, because of Ravenclaw’s concealment, it was possible that no one outside the family even knew the Diadem had been lost.

But why would Helena say nothing? Did it make any sense? She had already become a ghost — what use could the Diadem possibly hold for her at that point?

The entire affair reeked of contradiction and illogical elements.

Looking back at the events between Helena and the Bloody Baron, the story indeed seemed riddled with holes.

Evan smelled a conspiracy in it and concluded that things were not that simple.

Anyway, there must be a huge secret behind this matter.
