To be honest, Evan had never thought about his Patronus…

No, he had never imagined that the magic of the Patronus could become so powerful.

His corporeal Patronus had originally been a small, delicate black panther, slightly larger than an ordinary cat. But now, it had grown to the size of a real leopard.

The light fog that formed the Patronus was the result of equal amounts of magic power and positive emotions. For a Patronus of this size to exist, just how strong would that power need to be?

And yet, here and now, in the silent deep sea beneath Azkaban, this impossible phenomenon was happening for real.

Evan was not a god, but he was not relying solely on his own power. His Patronus had gathered the happy emotions of countless people, which was equivalent to gathering all the power of happy emotions that had been sucked away by the evil god and the Dementors, so that it had become so powerful, unprecedentedly strong.

This was a Patronus beyond imagination, infused with unimaginable power.

Through the connection between Evan and his Patronus, part of that feeling fed back to him…

Evan had had this feeling before, controlling a huge power beyond mortal limits, able to destroy everything with a wave of his hand. With just a single thought, the impossible became effortless, unimaginable. This was the realm of gods, the gods who controlled everything in existence!

This was a power equivalent to the level of the evil gods themselves, a power that could compete with them!

Previously, with the help of The Book of Abraham and Slytherin’s locket, Evan could use this power briefly, approach the origin of magic, and become the master of the world for a fleeting moment, only for a few heartbeats, because his body could not bear it at all. Unless he could become a magical creature made of energy or become a god, or was ready to die regardless of everything, there was no way his mortal form could bear the cost of using such power.

Everything in the world has its limits; this is the rule set by the Titans.

Power beyond those limits would only bring destruction, which was the main reason why the evil gods living in the shadow world could not descend to this world.

They could not break the rules, and once they descended, this world would be destroyed and become part of their world, becoming part of the darkness and shadow of the universe.

For the evil gods, the limit was how much power the Earth itself could withstand.

For Evan, the limit was what his physical body could endure.

But for the Patronus, which was inherently a magical creature, there was no such concern. In theory, as long as it had enough supply, it could continue to grow stronger and become as powerful as an evil god.

In a sense, evil gods and Patronuses were the same kind of being.

At their core, in terms of fundamental power composition, they were incredibly similar.

The energy that originally belonged to the evil god could now be easily absorbed by Evan’s Patronus. And it continued to become more and more astonishing. This phenomenon, completely defying common magical knowledge, was actually happening!   

It was called common magical knowledge because, unlike ordinary wizards, Evan operated by a different set of principles. To him, what was happening now was perfectly normal…

Dumbledore and Harry stood in the abyss of the deep sea, looking at the Patronus in front of them, which was almost the same as a real leopard and was still growing.

They both had the same question: Was this still a Patronus?

Dumbledore seemed to have thought of something. He looked at the Patronus with interest, his gaze probing and thoughtful.

Harry stood there with his mouth wide open, speechless.

He was shocked by the Patronus itself, but not particularly surprised that Evan was the one who made it happen. He was used to it by now!

More and more energy was converging, and the Patronus grew stronger by the second.

His head was spinning from the disorienting descent, but that wasn’t the worst part. What truly chilled him was the thing emerging from the abyss below them.

As the current began to slow, Evan looked down and saw something huge coming from below at a very fast speed, getting closer and closer.

Until he saw clearly, it was hundreds of dark purple tentacles… or rather, something terrible like tentacles.

They resembled the limbs of some colossal octopus, lined with sharp barbs and hooks. At the same time, they looked like giant fanged worms, their bodies composed of countless slabs of lifeless, decaying flesh.

The creature below was clearly its brain — so how could something like that grow out of it?!

There was no one who could answer that question for Evan now.

Those dangerous “tentacles” coiled into an irregular circle as they surged toward him, and it was their movement that had stirred up the surrounding seawater.

This scene was utterly horrifying. If they were entangled by these “tentacles”…
