Under the pitch-black firmament, Dumbledore stood, gripping the glowing green Twin Serpent Staff, looking particularly tall and striking.

He held the Staff high, as if lifting an entire world.

The vast void served as a backdrop to highlight him alone. It also framed the energy gate as it dissolved the cluster of tentacles and Dementors that touched it.

Annihilation!

Under the crushing force of the huge power, they disappeared without a trace, without even a wail.

Evan could even see the panic of the tentacles and the fear on the faceless expressions of the Dementors. These emotionless creatures were afraid.

This was an instinctive tremor. He had seen this kind of fear many times before; when Dumbledore had used spells while descending earlier, or when Evan had wielded the power left behind by Slytherin or The Book of Abraham. But this time, it was different. The dark green glow of the runes reflected in Dumbledore’s eyes, shining with brilliance, and contrasting with the huge dark sky.

After all the tentacles and Dementors were eliminated, the huge energy gate ceased expanding and stopped at the feet of Evan and Harry.

Evan looked at the huge energy gate in front of him, the void beyond it, and Dumbledore floating in the center. He felt a sense of destructive beauty.

Power and beauty, two completely different attributes, combined perfectly at this moment. It was breathtaking!
