Two extreme forces filled the same space — one was an immense magical destructive power, whose mere aftershock was enough to shatter the sea worm’s hardened body.

Under the influence of this power, the sky collapsed and the earth cracked, and the cold seawater surged in frantically.

The other was the power of space itself, the rule-magic of Titan creations.

Under its influence, the real world before their eyes was fracturing, being swallowed by the void. Swallowed, shattered, and dissolved, everything in this space, including the sea worm, the seawater, and all else, was breaking apart like shards of a shattered mirror, covered in countless cracks that eventually peeled away and vanished.

Even the liquid form of seawater couldn’t escape the grasp of this overwhelming spatial magic.

In this collapsing world, only the Kraken, the Twin Serpent Staff, The Book of Abraham, and Evan, Harry, and Dumbledore, who were protected by the power of these two legendary magic items, could maintain their original forms.

The serpent-shaped markings on their arms gleamed brightly, symbols of being recognized and accepted by the Twin Serpent Staff.

Under the protection of this power, Evan soared into the void.

He watched the sea worm, seawater and everything beneath him disappear bit by bit, and he had a very wonderful feeling, a kind of chaotic, crumbling beauty.

Under the traction of The Book of Abraham, the power of the Twin Serpent Staff began to shift. The void within the energy gate formed into an elongated, elliptical shape that slowly descended, consuming everything in its path, moving steadily toward where Dumbledore and the Kraken were.

Until darkness occupied everything, the broken world disappeared, and the vast black sky became the only main tone of this space.

Quiet, extremely quiet, no sound at all!

Evan stared downward at the swirl of red and green light. It was as though nothing had happened. There was no massive energy clash, no deafening collision of power. Dumbledore and the Kraken floated quietly in that void, like ancient, eternal stars, gently glowing.

The two of them maintained a strange balance, motionless, opposing one another.

Dumbledore had stopped descending. Clutching the Twin Serpent Staff tightly, he was held back by the blood-red mist and energy of the Kraken.

The two giant serpents were coiled around his right arm, biting down firmly.

In this state, Evan saw the deepest, most hidden part of the North Sea Kraken — something previously concealed. Behind the massive blood-red eye, the area that had been covered by the sea worm’s body — what should have been part of the Kraken’s own form — had vanished, replaced by a dense, countless mass of thread-like nerves.

The nerves were dark red, and each was about three hundred feet long.

They extended downward, one end was connected to the blood-red eye, and the other end…

Looking back along the nerves, there was a brain that was three to five times larger than that of an ordinary person, fully exposed.

This was the brain of the evil god!!!

The brain of Herpo the Foul!!!

The brain was covered in intricate dark red folds and circuits. Its surface was lined with sunken and raised gyri, along with beige, protruding horn-like structures.

Even in the void, where everyone remained motionless, this brain still kept pulsating in a certain rhythm, and the thread-like nerves swayed up and down with the beating.

In this weird state, everything felt strangely calm, almost as if this was how it was always meant to be.

Suddenly, the dark green energy radiating from Dumbledore and the Twin Serpent Staff suddenly increased.

The color became darker and darker. When the energy increased sharply to a certain extent, it easily broke through the obstruction of the red light mist energy of the North Sea Kraken.

The Staff pointed downward, its tip effortlessly pierced the red mist and plunged straight into the blood-colored eye.

A terrible wailing sound rang out, and the bloody eye twitched and struggled violently.

This was an agonized scream that resonated deep within the soul. Covering one’s ears did nothing to stop it.   

Everything happened too fast. Evan hadn’t expected progress to come so quickly. He didn’t even have time to feel the pain from the piercing wail before the dark green light of the Twin Serpent Staff rapidly flowed into the blood-colored eye.

Soon, the blood-red eye…

No, the eye of the Kraken changed from red to green!

It was the color of the Twin Serpent Staff, as if it was poisoned by snake venom.

As the color changed, the Kraken stopped struggling and stopped making soul-shaking wails.

It seemed to be dead, and the thread-like nerves behind it began to tremble violently.

Then, green energy began to flow along those nerves, extending toward the evil god’s brain.

The nerves thrashed and writhed, but they could not resist the invading power of the Twin Serpent Staff. The two giant serpents that had been biting Dumbledore’s arm released him. Lifting their heads, they swayed in midair, as if they had caught the scent of some irresistible delicacy. Then, they began slithering down the Staff.

As they reached the tip, their bodies gradually turned into pure energy.

They gradually transformed into misty, glowing serpents and passed effortlessly through the North Sea Kraken’s eye.

After passing through, they quickly returned to solid form. One on the left, the other on the right, they moved along the nerves toward the evil god’s brain.

They drew closer and closer, flicking their tongues constantly, calm and unhurried.

The brain at the end of the nerves was trembling in fear, its pulsations growing faster and faster. The evil god’s invincible mental attack seemed to have no effect on these serpents, and it didn’t even have any decent resistance. The two serpents followed the complex neural pathways and arrived beside the brain.

They surrounded it on the left and right, opened their huge jaws…

Then, they both struck at once, sinking their fangs deep into the evil god’s brain!

Evan drew in a sharp breath.

The instant the serpents bit down, the magic within the space surged into a frenzy.

Centered around the Twin Serpent Staff, a vast power began to gather.

That power flowed through the Staff, into the two serpents below, funneling into their bodies as they devoured the evil god.

The huge and dark sky began to shift, and the Twin Serpent Staff generated a huge suction force, and for the first time, the boundless void seemed to have a visible boundary.

The energy gate moved rapidly downward, merging into the Twin Serpent Staff from top to bottom, returning to the source of all that power.

The darkness dissipated, revealing the sea worm’s ravaged and battered body!

In the blink of an eye, the world was restored. The magic faded. The void was absorbed into the Twin Serpent Staff.

The world had returned, the cracks on the sea worm’s body continued to expand, and the cold seawater was still pouring in frantically. Evan and Harry were still standing on the shore of the lake. Their consciousness returned to their bodies after a long journey. It was as if nothing had happened. Everything looked exactly the same as moments ago… and yet, everything had changed!

Beneath the lake, the huge dark green eye of the Kraken, the Twin Serpent Staff partially embedded into it, and Dumbledore clutching the Staff tightly, proved that what had just happened was real. The powerful magic had altered the world and killed the North Sea Kraken.

And along with it, the evil god’s brain had also perished!

Though the sea worm’s massive body still obscured the view, hiding the evil god’s brain behind it, Evan didn’t need to see it.

He could imagine it clearly now. The evil god’s brain was being constricted tightly by those two giant serpents, their bodies coiled around it, their fangs buried deep as they devoured it piece by piece…
