Helmut: The Forsaken Child - H.F.C Chapter 89 (Part 2):
When Helmut went to Ethan’s office, he was able to meet him just as he arrived at work.
“Helmut, I was actually trying to find you.”
He was not just an instructor, but his guardian, so he must have heard about what happened yesterday.
Helmut had no intention of apologizing for that. Sabbat deserved to be hit.
“Did you beat up a guy named Sabbat in a duel yesterday?”
“I just showed him who was stronger because he underestimated me.”
“That’s right, you wouldn’t have done that for no reason.”
Ethan took the incident less seriously than expected.
After all, he is not in charge of the second year this year. He didn’t even see Jerome and Sabbat, who had been beaten to a pulp.
“Well, it’s common to get into disputes while living in the Swordsmanship Department. There are also injuries while dueling. Yesterday, the opponent was severely injured and seemed to have been punished, so you should know when to stop.”
“I’ll consider it.”
He didn’t confirm. But Helmut should also consider whether to write 50 reflection papers as a punishment or the brief joy of knocking down the opponent.
In the former case, it interferes with training. He was different from Asuka, who simply pursued immediate pleasure without thinking about the punishment that would fall after.
‘It may not end with 50 sheets in the future.’
Because punishment tends to increase. It would be easier to run around the playground,
The instructors knew that Asuka and Helmut were good at handling Vis.
So they impose annoying punishments in this way.
Ethan added,
“One piece of advice, you shouldn’t punch in a duel. If you’re going to do it, start by getting hit first. Because it can be considered as self-defense.”
“They are guys who can’t attack alone anyway.”
“That’s better. After all, you won’t lose to guys who can only win by fighting in groups.”
If it’s one against many, it’s a good reason to knock down the opponent.
But it wasn’t something the instructor should say. If Alan or Patricia, who mainly take care of the second grade, heard it, they would have shouted ‘Instructor Ethan!’
He coughed and said,
“Well, I also had some accidents when I was young. It always happens in the swordsmanship department. Just be careful not to get suspended.”
“Yes.”
“On holidays, bring some friends to the mansion. You don’t need to get along with everyone, but you should get along with your classmates.”
The latter seemed to be getting easier. Helmut replied dryly.
“Yes.”
“And also…”
Ethan’s words went on for a long time. He seemed to want to nag since he met. He seemed to have refrained from taking Sian on his last holiday.
Helmut, who was roughly listening, ran out of patience after about 5 minutes. He finally decided to bring up the main matter.
“Actually, I came because of the textbook.”
“Oh, did you get your textbook stolen? There was a witness, so they caught the criminal. The textbook is already burned for evidence destruction.
You will get compensation from that guy, but take these textbooks for now. I prepared it.”
Ethan took out a heavy box from under the desk and put it on the desk. Somehow, it feels like it’s going smoothly as Alea said.
‘There are surprising things that the academy can do too.’
He didn’t expect them to catch the locker thief, especially since it was almost impossible to track down the Black Hawk. Helmut looked inside the box.
“There are two books each?”
“Your friend Asuka also got his textbook stolen, right? Pass it on to him too. It would have been nice if you had come together since you’re here anyway.”
First of all, Asuka didn’t like being involved with the instructor. If he came to the instructor’s office, it meant he was there to be scolded for causing trouble.
Leaving that aside, Helmut wanted to point out.
‘I’m not friends with that guy.’
But in everyone’s perception, Helmut and Asuka seemed to be friends.
‘Can’t help it.’
It would be convenient if Asuka’s attitude changed due to the previous incident.
There weren’t many things that went smoothly as Helmut wanted since he entered this academy. Helmut, who was holding the box, asked.
“Who was the culprit?”
“That guy, Erun, along with the two guys who guarded him, is suspended as of today. He seems to have brought a magic scroll to unlock the lock. stealing and on top of that, using magic, these pathetic guys!”
Ethan clicked his tongue. With this, all three key members of the Sabbat gang were been caught.
If rumors spread, all other students will turn away from them. Satisfied with that fact, Helmut left a greeting.
“Then I’ll go.”
Helmut, who had escaped from the instructor’s office, checked the time. There is still about 20 minutes left.
‘Where is Asuka?’
You don’t need a textbook for morning classes. Helmut decided to deliver the textbook to Asuka and keep his own in the locker.
After causing that commotion, he probably didn’t stay in the common training ground. No, with his fiery temper, he might have even gone back to the common training ground to finish the fight.
The steps heading to the public training ground stopped abruptly. Helmut listened carefully.
A familiar voice was captured by his excellent hearing. When he moved towards it, he saw two heads sitting on the bench.
Brown and blue hair. It’s Sian and Asuka. They seemed to have gotten a little closer before, and they seemed to be talking.
Surprisingly, the one who was talking was Asuka. Helmut approached there. The faint voice became clearer and clearer.
What Asuka was saying was…
“Why is that guy so vile?”
“Why are you so angry?”
“No, just now in the training ground…”
He was cursing Helmut. Sian responded soullessly, ‘Ah, I guess you were upset.’
Rather, the light spirit sitting on Sian’s shoulder was the one who was eagerly listening to the story.
The light spirit, who seemed to have a complaint against Helmut, responded to Asuka’s fierce criticism with a vigorous gesture. Helmut was dumbfounded.
“The friend you’re talking about seems to be cursing his friend behind his back.”
As a cold voice struck down, Asuka’s mouth, which had been saying all sorts of things, closed tightly.
Two, no, the gaze of all three, including the light spirit, turned back.
“Oh, Helmut.”
Sian smiled awkwardly. Asuka had a flustered expression.
“Isn’t it worse to be silent when a friend is being insulted?”
He pointed out coldly, but he didn’t feel particularly upset. He didn’t have much expectation for Asuka in the first place.
It was even stranger that he didn’t rush in with his fists clenched right after he said that.
“Why are you coming from behind without a sound?”
“Take this.”
Helmut decided to finish his errand quickly. Asuka, who took the textbook handed over in a hurry, opened his eyes wide. Helmut added briefly.
“They caught the culprit. It was Erun. He’s disciplined, so you won’t see him for a while.”
“Is this book, did you get mine too?”
“Instructor Ethan gave it.”
Actually, Helmut didn’t care how Asuka would get the textbook.
A smile spread across Asuka’s mouth. No matter what Helmut said, he had already interpreted it in his own way.
