Labyrinth Exploration 101 - L.E Chapter 82 (Part 1): New Friends (2)
The special lecture for the 96 explorers had concluded. It was quite a lengthy segment, but time flew by unnoticed…
─Lim Hae-jun: “Ha-woon hyung~”
The vacation segment still had more in store.
A vlog featuring Kang Hyun, Lim Hae-jun, and Seol Ha-woon. The three, each holding their own camera, rendezvous at the Jeongdongjin beach.
– What’s with those three?
– LOL, they got close during the Cargo Labyrinth, haha. Word is they’re always hanging out together. Like, best buds level?
– In the photos the production team releases, they’re always standing side by side, lol.
– Lim Hae-jun brought a yacht? Guess he’s a real gold spoon.
– His dad’s a big shot in real estate.
Lim Hae-jun’s yacht arrives at the dock.
─Lim Hae-jun: “Hop on quick~ We’re setting sail~”
Lim Hae-jun dashes ahead, with Seol Ha-woon and Kang Hyun following close behind.
─Lim Hae-jun: “Let’s go~”
Three entirely different personalities stand aboard the yacht, cutting through the waves, basking in the sea breeze.
Lim Hae-jun grips the helm tightly. Seol Ha-woon’s long hair flutters as he leans against the deck’s railing, while Kang Hyun stands beside him, taking in the scenery. Sunlight glints off the sea foam splashing between them.
It’s a sight that lifts the spirits just by looking at it.
– Wow
– Wow… damn
– My eyes are feasting, but what about tomorrow?
– Are they shooting a photoshoot or what?
– When’s Kate showing up, damn it?
– Kang Hyun’s too damn handsome; he’s like an AI.
– Lim Hae-jun and Seol Ha-woon are good-looking too, lol.
– Hound’s got that vibe. It’s not just his looks—his whole aura screams heartthrob.
– The long hair styling was a god-tier move, fr.
Out of nowhere, Kang Hyun quietly asks Seol Ha-woon a question.
─Kang Hyun: “Been on many boats?”
─Seol Ha-woon: “…”
Seol Ha-woon’s face is dumbfounded, almost blank with disbelief. The SilTalk chat is no different.
– This guy’s brain is *empty*.
– Zero common sense.
– Asking a UDT if he’s been on many boats? What’s that about?
– Lmao, he’s lowkey a total airhead.
– Lol, but it’s kinda cute, no?
– Such a dumbass.
─Lim Hae-jun: “Alright, everyone, V-sign~”
Lim Hae-jun shoves the camera in their faces. Kang Hyun obediently makes a V-sign, while Seol Ha-woon glares at the back of Lim Hae-jun’s head, clearly annoyed, before reluctantly flashing a V-sign when Lim Hae-jun turns around.
─Seol Ha-woon: “What. I did it, didn’t I?”
─Lim Hae-jun: “I didn’t say anything.”
─Seol Ha-woon: “Just drive.”
Ishia smacks her lips. How many killer moments are packed into this three-minute scene? She bets at least ten memes will come out of this.
[Three Days Later]
Their vlog vanishes in an instant, and subtitles signal a shift in time and scene.
─Yoo Ji-in: “Hellooo~ I’m here again today to explain the next labyrinth!”
It’s the stage set.
The same place where Ishia had participated as a live audience member.
─Yoo Ji-in: “The next labyrinth challenge begins tomorrow—right here, with a live audience!”
─Yoo Ji-in: “You’ll all be thrown into a repeating scenario. But this isn’t a team battle.”
─Yoo Ji-in: “Each of you must independently discern the objective of the scenario and act in a way that benefits your own completion. Here are the themes you can choose from.”
│Plaza│Luxury Hotel│Secret Base│Underground City│
│Mercenary Street│Casino│School Ghost Story│VR Game│
Eight themes to choose from.
So that’s how it works. Ishia had thought it was random, but this piqued her interest as she watched intently.
─Lee Jong-su: Kang Hyun! Which one did you pick?
─Kang Hyun: Not sure yet.
─Kim Dong-ha: Let’s do it together this time~
The explorers chat among themselves, sizing each other up. In a labyrinth like this, knowing who’s on your team matters just as much.
─Lim Hae-jun: “Hyung. Which one are you going for?”
─Seol Ha-woon: “Plaza. I’m going in first.”
But Seol Ha-woon moves immediately. Whatever he’s thinking, he breaks free from hesitation.
He chooses the Plaza without a second thought.
– Lol, is this guy the only one who just *doesn’t think*?
– Congrats on the gold medal, Ha-woon!
– He doesn’t care who joins him, huh?
Seol Ha-woon is teleported somewhere. The camera follows close behind.
[Plaza]
The meeting room for the Plaza team.
Seol Ha-woon takes a seat first. The camera captures him alone in a single shot. There’s a certain vibe to it. He feels like a crime boss or a cold-blooded assassin.
“Handsome vibe” doesn’t cut it anymore—now it’s just “ice-cold heartthrob.”
– Man, that long hair was a godsend.
– Is it just me, or is Seol Ha-woon getting hotter? He’s different from Episode 1.
– Probably put on some weight during this shoot.
Soon, the explorers who chose the Plaza arrive one by one. Lee Jun-ho, Kate, Kim Woo-hyun, Kim Doo-gyeom…
─Kate: “Hello. I’m Archer Kate.”
Starting with Kate, the Plaza team members seated around the round table begin their introductions.
─Lee Jun-ho: “Warrior Lee Jun-ho.”
─Kim Doo-gyeom: “Ah, I’m Kim Doo-gyeom. I’m a warrior too.”
─Kim Woo-hyun: “I’m Kim Woo-hyun. Sorcerer, and looks like I’m the youngest again, haha…”
─Seol Ha-woon: “Sorcerer Seol Ha-woon.”
Suddenly, the camera zooms in on Seol Ha-woon’s expression as he looks at Kim Doo-gyeom.
His gaze is peculiar. It’s the look of someone who doesn’t like what they see.
