Adrian was engaging in movements that were beyond bizarre—downright grotesque.

Kai was dumbfounded watching him… but only for a moment.

Tentacles surged in from all directions, filling the entire space.

There was seemingly no room left to dodge.

And yet, astonishingly, Adrian avoided every single one of them.
With extraordinary senses and reflexes, he dodged and reacted to the torrent of tentacles.

An involuntary look of awe crept onto Kai’s confused face.

Adrian was constantly in motion—never pausing even for a moment—as he dodged, shredded, and devoured the tentacles.
It was hard to even believe these were human movements.

Compared to his earlier grotesque actions, it was awe-inspiring.
As a fellow knight and warrior, Kai couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of respect.

Could Kai have done the same? Could he have fought like Adrian?

He could say it for certain.

Even with a Master’s senses, he couldn’t perceive all of those fleshy tentacles. Reacting to them? Out of the question.

And yet, Adrian was doing it.

He was recognizing each of the hundreds of incoming flesh-limbs, tracking their trajectories, dodging, tearing, and devouring them all.

But what was even more shocking—

‘He’s getting stronger.’

With each passing moment, Adrian was growing stronger.

As he dodged Avarus’s attacks, his muscles tore, and his breathing grew ragged.

Being human, he inevitably hit his limits with time. And yet, every time that happened, crunch!—he bit into a surging tentacle.

He continued the battle by gnawing and swallowing the flesh down.

And then, the torn muscles began to compact more tightly, and his ragged breath quickly stabilized.

Repeating that process over and over—infinitely repeating it—Adrian was becoming infinitely stronger.

“The efficiency of stat growth is insane!”

To Adrian, this place wasn’t the Infinite Labyrinth.

It was an “Infinite Trial Grounds”… where he could grow without limit.

“Hey, Avarus! Pick up the pace a bit!”

<You lunatic bastard! You think I’ll just do it because you said—?!>

“Oh yeah? How about now?”

<KYYYYAAAAAAHH!! FINE! I’LL DO IT! DAMN IT, I’LL DO IT!!>

At that point, Kai gave up trying to understand anything anymore.

Day 68 of being trapped in the Infinite Trial Grounds.

<S-Stop alreadyyy…! You crazy bastard!!>

After what felt like eternal torture—but wasn’t technically torture—Avarus was the first to break.

Adrian’s prediction had been right.
Even if Avarus possessed infinite stamina and Mana, his mental strength was not infinite.

And day by day, Adrian was getting stronger and more powerful.

He didn’t even sleep.
No, more accurately—he didn’t need to sleep.

Through endless training and growth, Adrian had become nothing short of a monster.
A monster on an entirely different level from the one named Avarus.

A predator that devours monsters.

Even Kai could see that there was no point in continuing the fight any longer.

Avarus’s voice lost all energy as he unconditionally surrendered.

Soon, one of the flesh walls rumbled and opened. Beyond it shone a radiant light.

And so, the endless battle ended in Adrian’s victory.
At last, the journey of this long, long fight had reached its destination—

“No thanks.”

“I’m not leaving.”

“Who said I wanted to be let out?”

“You let me in on your own, but I don’t get to leave on my own?”

Adrian didn’t seem interested in leaving at all.

“I’m not stepping out until I max out to 9,999. Just so you know.”

No one was sure what stat he meant by “9,999.”

“What are you waiting for? Start again.”

And so—

<KYAAAAAAAHHH!!!>

—the Infinite Trial Grounds continued, endlessly.

Day 89 of being trapped in the Infinite Trial Grounds.

<P-Please… please just leave already…>

Avarus had started begging.
The space was still filled with hundreds of tentacle-like flesh whips—but they were no longer attacking Adrian.

<P-Please, I beg you…! Please, please leave…! Please?!>

Sscrape sscrape.

The hundreds of tentacles around the chamber paired off and began scraping against each other like hands in prayer.

From scraping to pleading.
It was pitiful, almost fly-like the way they rubbed together—so fast that the friction made bits of flesh fall off.

A truly grotesque sight—but honestly…

“No.”

Pitiful as he seemed, he was still the enemy.

And then—

“The people you experimented on without mercy… suffered far worse. Compared to that, this is nothing.”

Hearing Adrian say that, any trace of sympathy vanished.
