“Let’s wait! If it’s One Shot, he’ll be out in no time!”

People stopped in their tracks, eagerly waiting for One Shot to finish his raid.

If he cleared it with an S+ rank again, there’d be a public announcement—so they waited, necks craned.

The news reached even the Hunter Management Office, which had already stationed agents in the zone.

Hunters swiftly messaged the communication officer.

「GreatHunter: One Shot’s here! Just got the 11th floor alert!
SlowAndSteady: Got it! I’ll inform the supervisor!」

Communication wasn’t limited to government agencies.

Other major guilds that had been watching One Shot also took action.

Messages flew outside the Tower, and soon, people who had been on standby began pouring into the 10th-floor public zone.

[Breaking News: One Shot confirmed to have entered the 11th Floor.
Details to follow.]

Even hunters outside the Tower started entering the public zone out of curiosity.

“Whoa, what’s with all the people? Is there a fireworks show or something?”

“Dummy, it’s One Shot! Everyone’s here to see him!”

“Can’t even tell who’s who in this mess.”

The once-comfortable public zone was now so packed, you could barely move.

“Hey, that guy in the robe—could that be One Shot?”

“What? You think that’s him?”

“Is it really One Shot?!”

“Where? Where?”

“Wh-what are you talking about? I’m ‘Virtue Shot’…”

“Ugh, lame.”

“Why would you pick a name like that?”

“I picked it first, though…”

It got so chaotic that people started causing scenes even though there wasn’t an official clear notice yet.

Regardless, with One Shot’s expected appearance and the chance to see him for the first time—

All eyes in Korea were now focused on the 10th-floor public zone.

The clear condition for the 11th floor: Hunt 20 orcs.

‘Definitely a tall order for a solo player.’

No need to even mention Dark Orcs—ordinary orcs themselves were massive, far larger than the average adult male.

Naturally, their strength and endurance were also exceptional.

With a standard Mana Rifle, you’d have to aim precisely for a vital spot to down one in a single shot. If you hit somewhere like regular leather armor, it might take two or three rounds.

Lee Hyun opened his eyes in a barren wasteland filled with sand and rock and scanned his surroundings.

He could see groups of orcs wandering around in clusters.

But not a single one noticed Lee Hyun, who was wearing the Stealth Cloak.

Given that enemies surrounded him on all sides, kneeling offered better mobility than lying prone.

Lee Hyun calmly held his breath and fired a bone round at the closest group of orcs.

Bang—!

The gunshot echoed dryly, carried farther than usual in the arid air.

Thunk—!

An orc’s head burst open, leaving a gaping hole.

The large figure collapsed lifelessly.

Kreee?

The nearby orcs looked around in confusion.

Someone had definitely attacked, but there was nothing in sight except their fellow orcs.

‘If you can’t see it, you’ll just have to take it.’

Bang—!

Another dry shot.

And another orc dropped dead.

Only then did the orcs begin to track the direction of the attack.

In the middle of the wasteland, a faint, blurry silhouette appeared.

KREEEEEEE—!!

The enraged orcs charged toward the figure.

Bang—! Bang—!

Lee Hyun’s shots grew closer in rhythm as the orcs drew near.

But his aim never faltered.

Eyes, forehead, temple, heart—

He always aimed for the first vital point he saw, and the bone rounds pierced through their weak spots without fail.

It didn’t take long for all twenty charging orcs to fall.

Though the sheer number meant that the last one died quite close to him.

‘I really do need to invest in rapid fire soon.’

Lee Hyun glanced over the fallen orcs and thought.

A notification floated up before him.

「All enemies eliminated.
You have cleared the 11th Floor.
Rank: S+」

「11th Floor Reward:
You have obtained 9 F-grade Mana Stones.
Please check your inventory.」

「S+ Rank Clear Bonus:
You have received 3 additional E-grade Mana Stones.」

He now had a decent collection of Mana Stones.

“Oh.”

He even got three E-grade Mana Stones—rarely seen since its first appearance—thanks to the S+ rank reward.

Normally, you’d have to clear at least the 20th floor to see rewards like this, so it was a pleasant surprise.

「Mana: 31 → 34」

“Solid.”

Feeling reassured by his growing Mana stat, Lee Hyun began collecting every last orc bone from the battlefield.

‘Clearing the floor is nice and all, but…’

Normally, he would’ve exited the Tower right away—but he hesitated.

He had a bad feeling the public zone was already in an uproar.

“With the Stealth Cloak, maybe I can manage…”

His only hope was the cloak.

No one knew his identity anyway, so as long as he played it cool, he should be fine.

「Would you like to exit the 11th Floor?」

“Yeah. Better to get it over with.”

Lee Hyun pulled his cloak tightly around him and returned to the public zone.

「New record set on the 11th Floor.
Location: Korea Tower.
ID: One Shot
Rank: S+」

A public announcement appeared before every hunter in the zone.

“WAAAAAAAH!!!”

Cheers erupted instantly.

“One Shot! One Shot! One Shot!”

Once again, One Shot had cleared with an S+ rank.

“Damn it! He just went in—how’d he clear it already?!”

“He’s insane, right?!”

People were astonished not just by the rank but the speed.

How the hell did he kill 20 orcs that fast?

Did he shoot them?

Either way, One Shot would be exiting soon, so the crowd scanned the area eagerly.

If someone suspicious popped up, they planned to grab him right away.

“If you see One Shot, please let me know!”

“No keeping it to yourself!”

“Let’s get autographs together!”

People eagerly agreed to cooperate, hearts pounding with excitement.

Lee Hyun reappeared just as the atmosphere reached a fever pitch.

‘What the hell is this?!’

He didn’t scream—he was a sniper, after all—but internally, he was horrified.

He’d expected more people than before, but this was just too much!

Earlier it had been manageable—but now it felt like a World Cup crowd, shoulder to shoulder.

‘Thank god I wore the Stealth Cloak…’

He let out a quiet sigh and was about to leave—

Bump—

“?”

“??”

Someone brushing past him accidentally pulled back his hood.

“Huh? There’s someone here?”

Startled by the sudden appearance of a person who hadn’t been there before, the hunter was about to speak—

Lee Hyun reacted instantly.

“One Shot! Where’s One Shot?! I just woke up and heard he hasn’t come out yet?!”

One Shot yelling for One Shot—what a twist!

The other hunter looked him up and down.

“Hmmm…”

A bead of sweat trickled down Lee Hyun’s back.

‘Was that too forced? And the cloak does look shady…’

Better be ready to bolt.

As Lee Hyun braced in front of the exit prompt—

“Oh, you’re here for One Shot too? You’re just in time! He just cleared it! Didn’t even take three minutes—amazing, right?!”

The other hunter responded enthusiastically, matching his tone.

‘Oh, thank god.’

Lee Hyun went along smoothly.

“Really? Damn, if I hadn’t overslept, I could’ve seen the announcement live…”

“No worries! If we find One Shot, you’ll be part of history too!”

The two laughed heartily, united by their “search” for One Shot.

One of them actually being One Shot, of course.

“If you find him, let me know!”

“You too~”

They waved each other off.

Let him know? Yeah right.

‘I’m outta here.’

While everyone was distracted, Lee Hyun slipped out.

Returning to the familiar empty field, he finally felt like he could breathe again.

“I really need to be more careful.”

No way he could keep raiding comfortably at this rate.

He shook his head, realizing just how far his reputation had spread.

But wait a second.

‘…How exactly did all those people expect to find me in the first place?’

Thinking about it calmly—it was weird.

Sure, they were curious, but did they really have a reason to act so confident?

It’s not like he had “I’m One Shot” plastered on his face.

“…Thinking of this, maybe I should just walk around normally?”

With lighter steps, Lee Hyun headed back.
